August Affiliate Program of the Month: Cake Poker

Starting this month, I am going to highlight one affiliate program of the month that I feel should be a program everyone should be signed up at. There will be a variety of reasons for each pick. It may be because of the promotions that that program are running that month, or it may even be the promotions the poker room are running. It could be because of excellent customer service, high player retention, or a variety of other reasons.

For August, the affiliate program of the month is Cake Poker.

Cake Poker is currently one of my top performing poker rooms, for a variety of reasons, and I will list just some of them below:

• Only a year old, but with a strong reputation. What this means is that they are a reputable poker room, however there is still a large market of players who are at Full Tilt, Stars etc who don’t have Cake Poker accounts. Instead of marketing to players who may already have accounts at the majority of poker rooms, you will have a higher chance of sending players to Cake Poker.
• US-Friendly. That’s right - US Players can play here. With only a few poker rooms still accepting US players, this makes Cake Poker an even stronger option to promote.
• Very fishy network. Cake has linked up with a lot of sportsbooks, and this means that the network has a lot of very bad players. Who DOESN’T want to play with bad players?
• 25%-30% commission, with room for negotiation. Plus incredible perks. For example, if I hit a certain MGR goal this month, Cake will give me a $12,000 package to the World Poker Tour event in the Turks & Caicos. Have Full Tilt, Party or Stars ever offered you that?
• A lot of traffic, so your players should be able to play many games with ease. Over 4000 players at most times of the day.
• Fantastic promotions, including a 100% to $500 signup bonus, the Gold Card 500, lots of freerolls, rebuys etc. This month they are running numerous satellites to the World Poker Tour event mentioned above.

These are just some of the many reasons you should be signing up at Cake Poker. Their affiliate manager Shenaz is one of the best affiliate managers I’ve came into contact with - always friendly, always responds to e-mails, works around the clock to make sure everything is running smoothly. Overall, Cake Poker is a fantastic program, and you should be signing up and promoting them immediately.
