Design Changes

Just as an example of me practicing what I preach – when I was in the planning stages for the Poker Affiliate Bible, I thought big but I started small. I’ve got a lot of plans for this site – trip reports for various conferences, audio and video “articles” and interviews with key players of the poker affiliate world to name just a few. So I had a brainstorming session when first starting out, and wrote down all the ideas that me and my assistant came up with for this site. However after listing all the ideas, we then narrowed it down to one important factor – which was content. The aim of the site when first starting out(and still is) is to focus on written content. I didn’t even care much about design back then – as long as the site was easy to navigate and easy to read I was happy.

However I’m at the stage where I want the site to evolve, and so we will be doing many, many changes over the next coming months to make that happen. The very first one is of course a web design change because let’s be honest – this one sucks. I mean, it does the job it’s meant to do, but these days online that just isn’t enough. You need a snazzy, eye-catching “web 2.0″ design. So over the next few days the site will be up and down as I implement said new design. I appreciate your patience during this time.
