Why This Is Free

When I launched this site, I was immediately asked by my colleagues why I would do this; why I would spend lots of time telling others how to succeed as an affiliate. I mean, with the gambling industry being such a competitive market, why would I risk cutting into my revenue stream by providing this information for free?

Simple; I want you to succeed.

You see, in the affiliate business there’s a thing called sub-affiliation. What this means is that if I refer an affiliate to a site and he signs up, I, at no cost to that affiliate, earn a percentage of the revenue that he brings in. Let’s take Poker.com for example. Regardless of how much revenue you generate, you receive 40% of all of your players revenue and Poker.com will receive 60%. If you sign up under me as a sub-affiliate, you still recieve that 40%, however I will also receive 10%, and Poker.com will only receive 50%.

I first came up for the idea of this site when I was helping some of my friends, who had signed up as sub-affiliates, get started in the business. I had sat down and went over a variety of topics with them, and they couldn’t believe how much there was to this industry. They thought that all they’d have to do was throw up a webpage and the money would roll in. One of them suggested after the meeting “Wow, you should write a book”. However, the problem with writing an ebook is that information gets outdated, plus after someone buys the ebook I really have no financial incentive to help them in the future, and believe me just reading an ebook or a website won’t help you become a great affiliate. There’s a lot of trial and error, and an experienced affiliate like myself will hopefully be able to help minimize those errors and guide you on the right path.

So I offer all this information for free, and in return all I ask is that you sign up, at no cost to yourself, under me as a sub-affiliate, by using the links on the Poker Affiliate Programs page. It not only will give me the incentive to keep writing these articles, however it also means that for me to succeed I need you to succeed as an affiliate, and that means I will be available to offer you as much help as you need to get started. I’ll go through your website with you and critique, I’ll help brainstorm and be a sounding board for any ideas you have and anything else I can do that will help you succeed as an affiliate. I’ll also be able to give you links on pages with high Google Pagerank. Want a link for one month on a PR4 site? That’ll usually cost you about $20-$30. As my sub-affiliate? Free.
